Start with one anchor piece

A single larger print above the bed sets the room's tone. 50×70 cm works above most children's beds; 40×50 cm suits a dresser or reading corner.

Borrow colours from the room

Pick up the wall tone, the bedlinen or the wood in the furniture. Two colours from the room plus one gentle accent is usually enough.
